The summer before high school, I was struck by first-hand witnessing the stark realities many children faced in remote villages within Sichuan's Daliang district.

 

Driven to empower opportunity by education, I took on the role of a teacher in 2020, supporting free English mentorship by joining a non-profit English teaching club. ​

In 2021, motivated by my own journey through personal poetics, I initiated and implemented a poetry-focused, creative expression curriculum, PoeTea, eventually landed in three primary schools in Shenzhen. I aspire to make language a self-expressive, compassionate tool, instead of a rigid exam obligation as enforced by the public education system.
